About Me

Currently I am working from my home studio in Chester le Street, County Durham.

​After leaving a 29 year career in the family construction business, I now divide my time between being a foster parent and my creative work.​

 

Whilst having some formal art training, I consider myself to be largely self educated. I prefer to paint landscapes with inspiration coming easily from the beautiful Northern dales, vales and rugged coastline.

​

Working in a loose impressionistic style, my medium of choice would be Acrylic paint, but also occasionally in Oils and digitally on the iPad.
